AUSTIN, TX (July 28, 2026) – OHT Partners just broke ground on Park Row, a 360-unit apartment community in the burgeoning Energy Corridor area of Houston.
Situated on a site with nearly 14 acres at 14192 Park Row Blvd., Park Row will offer a new, Class A product with expansive outdoor amenities and direct and convenient access to I-10 via a dedicated overpass. The site is well-situated less than 20 miles west of downtown Houston, in the Energy Corridor – one of the densest suburban office nodes in the state.
Park Row’s Texas modern farmhouse-inspired façade, palette and architecture all aim for compatibility with the surrounding neighborhood. It features light masonry, white board-and-batten siding, standing-seam metal accents, bronze-framed windows and gabled rooflines.
One and two-bedroom units will range in size from 702 to 1,257 square feet in a three-story community. Unit interiors will feature smart locks, various Wi-Fi-enabled control panels, quartz countertops, front-lit vanities, mud rooms and stainless steel appliances. Property-wide amenities include a clubhouse, fitness room, co-working areas with private offices, club kitchen, package lockers, resort-style pool with cabanas, dog park and wash, pickleball court, detached garages, EV chargers and outdoor grills.
The site also features direct access to Terry Hershey Park and its hike and bike trails.
The project is being positioned to serve Houston’s west-side professional renter base, particularly those that want convenient access to the Energy Corridor, downtown, Memorial City and Katy.
“Everything about Park Row is meant to serve a working professional that wants to live in a well-located, modern, elevated community,” said Jackson Simons, Principal with OHT Partners.
Simons adds the Energy Corridor has not delivered a low-density garden design in many years. Park Row will be one of the newest and nicest rental options in the area, offering expansive outdoor amenities with convenient surface parking that cannot be replicated in a high-density environment.
Together, Houston’s Energy Corridor and the adjacent Katy Freeway submarket have more than 27 million square feet of space, according to a recent market report from CBRE. Major corporations such as BP, ConocoPhillips, Flour Daniels, Baker Hughes and Enbridge are all located within the submarket, with the Katy Freeway area commanding the highest office rental rates in the entire metro area.
